This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers interested in building construction and renovation. Students learn practical and theoretical skills in carpentry, blueprint reading, and the use of construction tools and materials. The programme prepares individuals for work in residential and commercial construction environments. Graduates gain the ability to perform tasks such as framing, finishing, and site layout.

2 semesters, on campus, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter careers in building construction, renovation, interior finishing, plant maintenance, and self-employment.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ACE certificate, or equivalent. One French credit required. International applicants without an OSSD must submit English language proficiency test results unless they will obtain the diploma before classes start.

On-campus, full-time, 2 semesters.
