Bachelor in Chemical Engineering

Chemical Engineering studies the design and operation of processes that transform raw materials into useful products through chemical, physical, and biological means. Students study subjects such as chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mass and heat transfer, and process design, combining theoretical coursework with laboratory work and process simulation. The discipline trains students to design and optimize industrial processes used in sectors such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and materials manufacturing, applying principles of chemistry and engineering to scale up processes from laboratory concepts to industrial production.
