The Cinema programme at Collège Ahuntsic is a two-year DEC (Diploma of College Studies) designed for students interested in film production and storytelling. It is delivered on-campus and focuses on practical training in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and sound design. Students work on collaborative projects to build a professional portfolio.

The curriculum includes courses in film history, visual arts, narrative techniques, and digital media. Emphasis is placed on hands-on learning through workshops, screenings, and real-world production exercises. The programme prepares students for careers in film, television, or further studies in related fields.

Admission requires no prior courses. Applicants must meet general college admission requirements. Selection considers performance in arts, French, and history. A mandatory French language test is required for those who did not complete secondary education in French-speaking regions.
