Bachelor in Civil Engineering

The tuition fee is 25,000 USD per year.

This bachelor's program in Civil Engineering covers the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure such as buildings, bridges, roads, and water systems. Students study structural analysis, materials science, geotechnical engineering, hydraulics, transportation engineering, and construction management, combining mathematics and physics fundamentals with applied engineering design. Laboratory and project-based coursework typically gives students practice in structural modeling, material testing, and design software used in professional practice. Graduates work in construction firms, engineering consultancies, government infrastructure agencies, and construction management roles, contributing to the design and delivery of buildings and public infrastructure projects. This program is delivered in English over 4 years at Özyeğin University in İstanbul, Turkey, a city with substantial ongoing construction and infrastructure activity. The curriculum builds from engineering mathematics and mechanics courses toward specialized subjects such as structural design, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials. Istanbul's active building and infrastructure sector provides relevant context and internship opportunities for civil engineering students. By the end of the 4-year program, graduates have the technical foundation needed for engineering roles in construction and infrastructure development.
