The three-year BEng (Hons) is delivered in three stages. Year 1 builds fundamental engineering science, mathematics and introductory design. Year 2 expands into structural, geotechnical and hydraulic engineering while adding project management and professional skills. Year 3 focuses on advanced design, BIM, a major engineering design project and a dissertation, with an optional 48-week sandwich placement between Years 2 and 3 for industry experience.
