About Civil Engineering Technologies

Tuition is Year 1 - $11,440, Year 2 (Construction option) - $8,080, Year 3 (Construction option) - $5,340, Year 2 (Water Resources option) - $7,670, Year 3 (Water Resources option) - $4,000, and applications for the Sep 2026 intake close on Sep 1, 2026.

This programme is designed for recent high school graduates and career changers interested in engineering technology. Students study civil engineering principles with a focus on construction or water resources. They gain hands-on experience through labs, field assignments, and co-op work terms. The curriculum includes surveying, materials testing, hydraulics, project management, and infrastructure design.

Focus areas include Construction, Water Resources.

27 months full time, five academic semesters, two four-month co-op work terms, 90 credits.

Graduates work as civil engineering design technologists, traffic technologists, building inspectors, materials testing technologists, estimators, project coordinators, environmental protection officers, water analysts, and hydraulics/hydrology technologists.

Grade 12 with Pre-Calculus 30 or Math A30, B30, and C30. English language requirement. Alternative admission available via ACCUPLACER© with minimum scores: Arithmetic 250, Advanced Algebra and Functions 240, Quantitative Reasoning 256, Reading 250, Writing 245.

On-campus full-time, 27 months.
