Bachelor in Classical Studies

The Classical Studies program at the University of Geneva offers a unique opportunity for students interested in the ancient world. This three-year bachelor’s degree focuses on five disciplines: Greek, Latin, Ancient History, Classical Archaeology, and the History of Ancient Religions. It is ideal for students who are passionate about languages and literature and wish to pursue a career in academia or secondary education.

Students will engage deeply with the languages and literatures of the Greco-Roman world, studying them within their historical, material, and religious contexts.
