Micro-Credential

At Langara College, tuition is CAD 1,200 total (domestic).

This micro-credential teaches you how to use QuickBooks Online for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. You will learn to set up company files, record transactions, manage customers and suppliers, handle banking activities, and generate financial reports. The program focuses on practical skills needed in modern cloud-based accounting environments.

The program runs for four months and includes two 6-week courses delivered online. You will complete assignments and quizzes with set deadlines. Final exams are in person. There are no fixed class times, but you must keep up with course work. A basic understanding of accounting principles is recommended.

This micro-credential is for people starting a bookkeeping career, administrative staff, small business owners, or professionals updating their skills. It can be used as a credit toward other programs like the Professional Bookkeeper Short Certificate, Professional Accounting Certificate, or Advanced Accounting Diploma.
