The college is located on a waterfront campus on the Thames River in New London, Connecticut. International applicants complete the Mitchell College Application and submit translated secondary transcripts, along with proof of English proficiency when required. Minimum scores include 75 on the TOEFL, 6.0 on the IELTS, 90 on the Duolingo English Test, or 53 on the PTE. Mitchell welcomes students from around the world, but it does not operate as an English-language school or issue Form I-20s for ESL study. F-1 applicants must provide a valid passport, certification of finances, and bank documentation before an I-20 is issued.
