The MSc in Communication and Information Technology (CIT) at the University of Bremen is an engineering programme covering advanced topics in wireless communications, signal processing, and network design. Compulsory courses include Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Channel Coding, Communication Networks, Electrodynamics, Network Simulation, RF-Front-End Devices and Circuits for Wireless Communications, Wireless Communication Technologies, and two Information and Communication Technology Lab courses, as well as a German language course. The 4-semester programme starts in the summer semester, with applications closing on 15 October each year for courses beginning the following spring. Elective courses can be drawn from a broad list including Advanced Digital Communications, Emerging Networking Concepts, Antennas and Propagation, Nonlinear Systems, Advanced Control Systems Lab, Control Theory, Digital Electronics and Microsystems Technology Design Techniques, Next Generation Mobile Communication Systems, and Internet of Things, among others. The programme also includes a project, which is a half-semester scientific assignment consisting of scientific work, a written report, and an oral presentation, and concludes with a Master's thesis.
