The Bachelor's degree programme in Computer Science (CTS) at Ulm University of Applied Sciences is taught in English and runs over 8 semesters. It is open to both German and international applicants and combines a focus on modern software system design with methods for designing processor-supported hardware, with particular attention to building complex IT-based systems. In the second year, students select two focus topics from eight available specialisations: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Mobile Computing, IT Security, Service Robotics, Computer Graphics and Vision, Computer Engineering, Medical Information Systems, and Business Administration. The programme includes five elective courses and an internship in the seventh semester. Students also take four semesters of German language courses during the first three years to support study and daily life in Germany. Semesters one and two cover fundamental studies; semesters three through eight cover main studies and the final thesis.
