Computer Systems Technician

This program combines theory and practice in computer science to prepare students for technical roles in computing environments. Students learn to design, implement, and manage computer systems, networks, and security solutions. They develop skills in programming, system administration, database management, and technical support. The curriculum includes hands-on lab work and preparation for industry certifications.

4 semesters, on campus, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter roles in technical support, network administration, system management, and database administration.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ACE certificate, or equivalent. One French credit required. English proficiency test required if OSSD not obtained. Recommended: one computer studies credit.

On-campus, full-time, 4 semesters.
