Control, Electronics, and Information Engineering, known as CEIE, is a master's programme taught in English at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland. The programme runs for three semesters, with yearly tuition of 2400 EUR. Students choose one of three leading fields: Automatic Control, Electronics and Telecommunication, or Data Science. The education combines practical experience with specialized knowledge in the chosen field. Automatic Control graduates are prepared to work as designers and maintenance engineers for automatic control systems and plants, robotics, measurement systems, mechatronics, and computer systems of automation. Electronics and Telecommunication graduates are prepared to carry out research and scientific tasks as well as solve engineering problems in electronics and system design, hardware and software telecommunication, and measurement, control, and medical equipment. Informatics graduates gain skills in the construction, maintenance, and use of system software, application development, building computer systems and networks, and designing and administering databases. Applicants are asked to indicate their preferred field of study in their motivation letter. CEIE sits at the intersection of automation, electronics, telecommunications, and computing, disciplines that together underpin modern industrial systems, communication networks, and data-driven technology.
