The Counselling (Child and Young Person) program at Anglia Ruskin University is a non-degree program for students who want to become professional counsellors. It takes 4 years to complete and helps students develop essential skills to work with children and young adults.

Students will learn about child development, psychopathology, and creative therapeutic techniques. They will also participate in observed groups and complete a 150-hour clinical placement to develop their person-centred counselling skills.

After graduating, students can work as qualified counsellors, therapists, or professionals in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
