This programme prepares students to work in professional kitchens and food service environments. You will learn foundational cooking techniques and advance to complex food preparation, including sauces, baking, and menu planning. The programme runs over two years and includes a 480-hour paid industry work placement.

You will study kitchen safety, nutrition, cost control, and inventory management. Courses cover global cuisines, food production, and team leadership. Practical training takes place in a fully equipped kitchen where you apply classroom knowledge to real-world cooking tasks.

The programme requires a cumulative GPA of 2.0 to graduate. Domestic students pay approximately $6,840 in the first year and $5,130 in the second. International students pay $18,468 in the first year and $13,851 in the second. The Fall 2026 intake is closed, with applications accepted from October 1, 2025, to August 15, 2026, for domestic students.
