Master in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Health Sciences

For Master in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Health Sciences, tuition costs 20,206 EUR per year.

Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Health Sciences is a master's degree taught in English at HUMANITAS University in Pieve Emanuele, Italy, over two years, with admission by entrance examination. This program sits at the intersection of data science and health sciences, applying analytical and artificial intelligence methods to problems in medicine and healthcare. Students typically study statistics, machine learning, and data management, alongside subjects grounded in health sciences such as biostatistics, clinical data analysis, and health informatics. Coursework often addresses how large healthcare datasets, including clinical records and biomedical data, can be analyzed to support diagnosis, treatment decisions, and health system planning, giving students both technical skills in data analysis and a working understanding of the clinical and biomedical context in which that data is generated. Because artificial intelligence is increasingly applied across healthcare, from image analysis to predictive modeling, the discipline trains students to build and evaluate models responsibly within a health science framework, considering both technical performance and the practical constraints of clinical environments. Graduates commonly pursue careers as data analysts or data scientists within hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and research institutions, working on projects that apply analytics or artificial intelligence to clinical or public health questions. Others move into biomedical research roles, health informatics positions, or the growing digital health industry, which increasingly seeks professionals able to bridge data science and healthcare. The degree can also serve as a foundation for further research or doctoral study in health informatics or biomedical data science. Based in Pieve Emanuele and taught in English, with entry requiring an entrance examination, the program targets students with a quantitative background who want to apply their skills to health-related questions.
