Data Analytics, Big Data and Coding is a master's programme taught in English at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. The degree runs for two years, or four semesters, with the next intake starting October 1, 2026, and applications due by September 15, 2026. Delivered as an interdisciplinary Business Analytics and Data Science track within the Faculty of Economics, the programme aims to give students comprehensive knowledge of economic systems alongside IT technology. Students build the skills needed for analyst roles through coursework such as an analytical project, soft skills and communication training, and a business simulation. The programme is practical, drawing on the experience of business practitioners and problem-solving tied to real business practice, including simulations that reflect the dynamics of economic processes so students can make decisions and observe the results. A work placement is not required, though students are encouraged to pursue one voluntarily to gain professional experience during their studies. The programme runs through a collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Sii sp. z o.o., a technology consulting, digital transformation, engineering, and business services provider in Poland with more than 7500 specialists. Lectures and seminars are delivered by experienced academics and business practitioners, and class scheduling includes remote sessions along with the option to select preferred class groups, seminars, and lectures. Graduates of business analytics and data science programmes typically pursue careers as data analysts, business intelligence specialists, or economic analysts within companies, technology consultancies, and financial institutions.
