If you have achieved at least a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative subject and wish to move into data science, this MSc provides the conversion you need. The programme runs over one full-time year, beginning in September, with taught modules in the first part and a substantial Master’s Project in the final term.

You will study programming, statistics, big-data tools, machine learning, data visualisation and the ethical and governance aspects of data use. The course offers optional industry placements, is taught by research-active staff and makes use of the university’s high-performance computing cluster and dedicated data-science labs.
