Bachelor in Dentistry

Tuition is 7,100 EUR per year.

This Dentistry program covers the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and conditions affecting the teeth, gums, and mouth, with coursework spanning human anatomy and physiology, oral biology, dental materials, and clinical subjects including restorative dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery. Students typically progress from foundational medical and biological sciences into clinical training, where supervised practice with patients allows them to develop diagnostic and procedural skills under the guidance of qualified instructors. The program also addresses preventive dental care and patient management, preparing students for the day-to-day responsibilities of dental practice. Since dental care remains a consistent healthcare need in every population, dentists are required across community clinics, hospitals, and private practices globally. Graduates most commonly enter general dental practice, while some pursue further postgraduate specialization in fields such as orthodontics, prosthodontics, or oral and maxillofacial surgery. This bachelor's-level program spans 5 years, reflecting the depth of clinical and theoretical training dental education requires, and is delivered entirely in English. It is offered by Cyprus International University, located in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus, where students have access to clinical facilities supporting supervised patient treatment as part of the curriculum. Over the five years, the program generally moves from basic medical sciences toward clinical dental training and direct patient care experience. Studying in an English-medium program in Lefkoşa also exposes students to internationally recognized dental education practices relevant to a globally regulated profession.
