Dentistry focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and conditions affecting the teeth, gums, and oral cavity, combining biological science with clinical technique. Students begin with foundational subjects such as anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry before moving into dentistry-specific coursework covering oral pathology, periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
