This programme focuses on designing and prototyping smart products using mechanical engineering principles. Students learn to integrate advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, and computer systems into product development. Courses include hands-on projects that combine theory with practical design and build tasks. The program prepares students for roles in product design, automation, and manufacturing technology.

Focus areas include Advanced manufacturing, Mechatronics, Computer systems and networking, CAD and engineering software.

Two-year diploma, full-time, on-campus; includes work integrated learning projects.

Graduates enter careers as mechanical engineering technologists, automation technologists, or manufacturing technologists.

Grade 12 with 65% in Pre-Calculus 30 or Math B30 and C30, and 70% in Physics 30. English language requirement. Alternative admission available via ACCUPLACER© scores or post-secondary credits.

On-campus, full-time, two years.
