The program is grounded in research and theory-to-practice methodology. Students learn to use ultrasound technology for accurate diagnosis and patient care. They develop technical skills in image acquisition and interpretation. The curriculum emphasizes ethical, patient-centred care in clinical settings.

Focus areas include Abdomen, Male and female pelvis, Obstetrics, Peripheral veins for DVT, Superficial structures like the thyroid, Generalist sonography.

Two years, full-time, includes three clinical practicum courses totaling 1,080 hours.

Graduates work as diagnostic medical sonographers in healthcare settings.

75% in ELA 30-1, 75% in MATH 30-1 or MATH 30-2, 75% in BIO 30, 75% in PHYS 30. International applicants must meet English language requirements: Duolingo 130, IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each band, Oxford ELLT 8 overall with 7 in each band, or TOEFL iBT 92 or PBT 580.
