This diploma covers precision engineering and cutting-edge fabrication technologies through the lens of Industry 4.0, including advanced 3D printing, digital fabrication and sustainable manufacturing practices. The three-year full-time diploma follows NYP's Professional Competency Model, with 26 Competency Units and 5 Work-Integration Units covering Product Design with Sustainability, Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing, Smart Manufacturing Implementation and Advanced Metrology, plus a 12-week internship and a 12-week Final Year Project. Graduates typically move into roles such as Additive Manufacturing Engineer, Aerospace & Mechanical Engineer, Automation & IoT Engineer, Quality Specialist, Product Designer, Data Analyst, Biomedical Manufacturing Engineer, Precision Engineering Machinist, Quality Assurance Technician.
