This diploma teaches students to design, manufacture and inspect aircraft and drones, preparing them for high-demand roles across a rapidly evolving aerospace industry with a focus on sustainable aviation. The three-year full-time diploma follows NYP's Professional Competency Model, with core study in Aerospace Maintenance, Aerodynamics and Integrated Aerospace Design, and specialisation tracks in Mechanical or Avionics covering propulsion, systems integration and quality assurance. Graduates typically move into roles such as Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone) Specialist, Aircraft Engine Technologist, Avionics Specialist, Aircraft Maintenance Technologist.
