This diploma builds AI and data engineering skills for real-world applications, teaching students to predict risks, optimise processes and build sustainable data systems. Key learning areas include AI Systems Design & Development, Data Processing, Ethical & Responsible AI Solutioning, and Engineering Business & Operations, delivered through Work-Integration Units and an internship. The three-year full-time diploma follows NYP's Professional Competency Model, combining Competency Units with Work-Integration Units, an internship and a Final Year Project so students graduate workplace-ready. Graduates typically move into roles such as Data Engineer, AI Application/Product Developer, AI Infrastructure Administrator, AI Technical Support Engineer, AI Sales/Presales Engineer, or use the diploma for advanced standing at local and overseas universities.
