This diploma equips students with knowledge and skills for specialty chemicals, vaccine analysis and industrial research, through real-world research experience alongside industry partners in chemical analysis and biotechnology. The three-year full-time diploma follows NYP's Professional Competency Model, combining Competency Units with Work-Integration Units, an internship and a Final Year Project so students graduate workplace-ready. Core study covers biochemical analysis, organic methodologies, synthesis and purification techniques, and instrumental analysis. Graduates typically move into roles such as Analytical Chemist, Associate Scientist, Product Researcher, Quality Assurance Specialist, Research & Development Officer, Formulation Chemist.
