Diploma in Computer Engineering

The Diploma in Computer Engineering combines hardware and software skills for systems such as cloud computing, cybersecurity and the Internet of Things. Students build a foundation in digital electronics, programming and networking before splitting into a Computer Engineering & Software or a Computer Networking & Security track. The three-year course adds modules in Cloud Systems, Cyber Security and Machine Learning on top of the shared foundation, and closes with hands-on projects and an internship. Graduates move into roles such as systems analyst, network security engineer or cloud engineer, or progress to engineering and computing degrees; SP's planned intake for 2026 is 170 places.
