This diploma is the only polytechnic course combining experience, product, interior and interaction design in one award, teaching students to create innovative physical and digital experiences that shape how people interact, think and feel. The three-year full-time diploma follows NYP's Professional Competency Model, with core study in Material & Design Technologies, Design Practice Management, Design Visualisation and Service Experience Design, and electives in Spatial Experience or Product Experience, plus a Work-Integration Unit and internship. Graduates typically move into roles such as Product Designer, Interior Designer, UI/UX Designer, Exhibition Designer, Service Experience Designer.
