This diploma is Singapore's most established nursing programme, giving students hands-on clinical experience and skills to manage patient care. The curriculum, built on NYP's Professional Competency Model, covers person-centred care, health promotion, disease management and clinical decision-making, with clinical practice placements throughout the course. The three-year full-time diploma follows NYP's Professional Competency Model, combining Competency Units with Work-Integration Units, an internship and a Final Year Project so students graduate workplace-ready. Graduates typically move into roles such as Staff Nurse, Clinical Nurse, Nurse Educator, Research Nurse, or use the diploma for advanced standing at local and overseas universities.
