Bachelor in Diplôme de Comptabilité et de Gestion

The Diplôme de Comptabilité et de Gestion (DCG) is a nationally recognised French higher education qualification in accounting and management, offered in French at Institut Limayrac in Toulouse, France over 3 years. The DCG is the first level of France's three-tier professional accounting qualification sequence, followed by the DSCG and ultimately the DEC for those pursuing the chartered accountant title. The programme covers financial accounting and reporting, management accounting and cost analysis, corporate and fiscal law, business economics, information systems, and management principles. Students develop both the technical rigour required to prepare and interpret financial statements and the broader management knowledge needed to advise on business decisions. The DCG is a bachelor-level credential and is directly recognised by French professional accounting bodies, making it the standard academic pathway for students aiming at a career in accounting, audit, or financial advisory services. Graduates work in accounting firms, corporate finance departments, public sector treasury functions, and financial services organisations. The programme starts in September and runs for 3 years. All instruction is in French. Students who complete the DCG and wish to continue into chartered accountancy progress to the DSCG, which builds directly on the conceptual and technical foundations established at DCG level.
