This one-year certificate program prepares individuals to use evidence-based practices in applied behaviour analysis (ABA) within disability support settings. Core principles include functional behaviour assessment, ethics, intervention strategies, and organisational behaviour management. The curriculum focuses on supporting individuals with autism across the lifespan. Participants gain skills to assess and improve behaviours using scientific methods.

The program is delivered on campus and requires 21.00 credits. It includes a mix of theory and applied practice. Courses cover research, clinical applications, and ethics. The program meets the coursework requirements for the Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) credential. Graduation requires good academic standing and completion within four years.

Admission is limited and competitive. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or be in their third or fourth year of a bachelor's program with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or 2.33. A letter of intent, resume, and two professional references are required. The program starts in the fall. International students are not eligible. Graduates can work as behaviour interventionists or pursue further certification.
