Ontario College Diploma

At Collège Boréal, tuition is CAD 15,000 per year (international).

This program prepares students to work with children from birth to age 12 in early learning settings. It focuses on inclusive curriculum design, child development, and building strong relationships with families and communities. Students learn to support children's well-being through play-based learning and evidence-informed practices. The program emphasizes cultural diversity, Indigenous worldviews, and Francophone identity in early education contexts.

The program runs for four semesters on campus or five semesters through distance education. It uses in-class, blended, online, and video/audioconference teaching styles. Students complete internships that require first aid, CPR, immunizations, a medical exam, and a criminal record check. They must also meet language and academic entry requirements to enroll.

Graduates can register with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators. The program leads to careers in licensed and unlicensed child care, family support programs, child welfare services, and school boards. Students finish with practical experience and professional readiness for early childhood education roles.
