PhD in Economia, Statistica e Data Science - ECOSTAT

Students with a keen interest in the intersection of economics, statistics, and data science will find the PhD in Economics, Statistics and Data Science (ECOSTAT) particularly rewarding, as it builds on a twenty-year collaboration between economists, statisticians, and data scientists from the Department of Economics, Management and Statistics (DEMS) and the Department of Statistics and Quantitative Methods of the University of Milano-Bicocca (UniMiB).

This collaboration began with the BSc in Statistics and Economics, continued with the MSc in Statistics and Economics, and now includes the MSc in Data Science.

The PhD programme addresses key challenges in the field, including the high qualification of faculty, attracting quality students, interdisciplinary research, internationalisation, and strong links with the non-academic job market, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for successful careers.
