Master in Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods (EPQM)

The Master's degree in Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods (EPQM) at the University of Potsdam is a four-semester English-language programme focusing on quantitative methods for evidence-based economic policy analysis. It addresses economic and sociopolitical topics including labour markets, inequality, human behaviour, economic growth, and sustainability, and examines instruments of economic policy applicable at local, regional, national, and international levels. The programme begins in the winter semester. The curriculum is built on a strong theoretical foundation in economics and a specific focus on quantitative empirical methods. Students can also take part in a joint double degree option, Master's in International Public Policies, in cooperation with the University of Rennes. Virtual information events are offered during each application period (1 April to 1 June) for prospective students. The programme is based at the University of Potsdam in Potsdam, Germany.
