Economics at the University of Warsaw is a PhD program lasting four years, taught in English in Warszawa, Poland. Yearly tuition is EUR 4,500. Applicants also submit an outline of the PhD project intended to form the basis of their doctoral dissertation. Admission involves an assessment of these documents together with an interview. A doctoral program in economics of this kind trains students to carry out original, independent research contributing new findings to economic theory or applied economics, typically culminating in a dissertation developed over several years of coursework, seminars, and supervised research.
