Abdullah Gül University

Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Kayseri, Turkey Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

Electrical and Electronics Engineering studies the generation, transmission, and control of electrical energy alongside the design of electronic circuits and devices used throughout modern technology. The curriculum spans circuit theory, electromagnetics, power systems, control systems, and analog and digital electronics, building toward more specialized coursework in areas such as telecommunications, microelectronics, or renewable energy systems. Students learn to analyze and design circuits, work with sensors and actuators, and understand how power is generated, transmitted, and managed at both large industrial scale and in small embedded devices. Laboratory coursework is a significant part of the program, giving students direct experience building and testing circuits, programming microcontrollers, and using measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and signal generators. Mathematics coursework in calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra supports the technical modeling that underlies circuit and systems analysis throughout the degree. Many programs also address automation and control systems, an area that connects electrical engineering to modern manufacturing and robotics. Graduates work in power generation and distribution, telecommunications, electronics manufacturing, automation, and renewable energy companies, in roles ranging from design engineer to systems and maintenance engineer. The technical foundation the degree provides also supports careers in robotics and industrial control systems, sectors that continue to expand as manufacturing becomes more automated. This bachelor's program is delivered in English over 4 years at Abdullah Gül University in Kayseri, Turkey. English-medium instruction gives students access to the international technical standards and reference material commonly used across the electrical and electronics engineering profession, supporting both further study and international career paths after graduation.
