Bachelor in Electrical Electronic Engineering

The application deadline for Bachelor in Electrical Electronic Engineering is Aug 31, 2027. Tuition fees are 16,750 GBP per year.

Engineers who thrive in this programme are those who possess a genuine curiosity for how the modern world functions, seeking to bridge the gap between abstract mathematical theory and tangible technological solutions. You will be immersed in a practical environment where the focus shifts rapidly from high-level design concepts to the physical assembly of electronic components and the development of firmware. By working with industry-standard tools and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment—including dedicated spaces for microprocessor engineering, power electronics, and Smart Grid technology—you will cultivate the technical fluency required to navigate the complexities of contemporary engineering.

This course is specifically designed for those who want to do more than just study theory; it is for those who want to build, test, and refine hardware. Whether you are focusing on the intricacies of embedded systems or the large-scale distribution of electrical power, you will learn to manage the entire lifecycle of a project. You will develop the ability to interpret industry datasheets, conduct rigorous research, and apply professional ethical standards to your design decisions, ensuring that your work is not only technically sound but also economically and environmentally sustainable.

Professional Integration and Industry Practice

The curriculum is shaped by the requirements of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), ensuring that your education remains aligned with current industry expectations. Through a unique block teaching approach, you will tackle subjects in focused, intensive periods, allowing for deep concentration and hands-on experimentation. This structure prepares you for the realities of the professional world, where project management, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to solve complex, real-time problems are as vital as your core technical expertise.
