About the Program

The Electrical Engineering Master's programme at the University of Rostock is research-oriented, preparing graduates for careers in both academic and industrial settings. Students acquire knowledge and competencies across the discipline and then choose one of two major fields: Information Technology or Power Engineering. Obligatory German language classes are part of the programme for all students. The degree runs over four semesters. During the first three, students work through mandatory and elective courses to accumulate 90 credit points at a rate of 30 per semester. The fourth semester is devoted entirely to writing and defending the Master's thesis, which carries 30 credit points. The programme is offered at the University of Rostock, located in the city of Rostock, Germany.
