The MEng in Electrical Engineering at Kempten University of Applied Sciences is a 3-semester programme taught entirely in English, with intakes in both the winter and summer semester. It addresses topics in electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications relevant to internationally operating companies, covering a broad curriculum designed to develop both technical and interpersonal competencies. The programme consists of two semesters of lectures and laboratory training followed by a third semester dedicated to the Master's thesis. Students can direct their studies to some extent through their choice of elective modules and the topic of their scientific project and thesis. The thesis can be completed in cooperation with a company, with a professor from a partner university, or in one of the university's own laboratories. The programme has connections with more than 80 universities worldwide, and the mixed cohort of German and international students is a deliberate feature of the programme's design.
