This programme prepares students to become electrical engineering technologists. Graduates work in energy generation, transmission, distribution, and sustainable management. Students study electrical systems, power electronics, automation, and renewable energy. Hands-on labs and projects develop technical design and problem-solving skills.

Focus areas include Electrical machines, Electrical power generation, Electrical system design, Industrial automation and control systems, Industrial power electronics, Renewable energy systems.

Three-year full-time programme with five academic semesters and three co-op work terms. Total credits not specified. Co-op terms are paid and mandatory.

Graduates enter roles such as electrical engineering technologist, distribution planning technologist, metering technologist, or electrical distribution network technologist.

Grade 12 with minimum 60% in Pre-Calculus 30 or Math B30 and C30. Physics 30 required. English language requirement must be met. International applicants must provide proof of English proficiency. Applicants may qualify through ACCUPLACER scores or alternative admission assessment.

On-campus, full-time, three years.
