Students can specialise in either Energietechnik, Kommunikationstechnik or Mechatronik, with a curriculum that includes modules like ‘Vektoranalysis’ and ‘Masterprojekt’ in the first two semesters, followed by a thesis and colloquium in the final semester. The programme is designed to broaden and deepen students' technical and methodological competencies, fostering social and self-competencies for future leadership, control, and coordination tasks. Students are supported by a close supervision from lecturers and a good equipment.

Graduates find roles in industries like machine and plant engineering, automotive and aerospace, automation, robotics, and renewable energy innovations. The programme builds on Bachelor's degrees in ‘Elektrotechnik’, ‘Mechatronik’, or ‘Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen – Elektrotechnik’.
