The module Process Analysis and Improvement introduces Lean Six Sigma tools for waste reduction and cost optimisation, giving students hands-on practice in streamlining engineering processes and improving sustainability. Building on this, the course covers operations and supply chain management, data analytics, strategic leadership and project management, all taught on-campus in Letterkenny.

It is aimed at engineers who already hold a BSc or equivalent in a STEM discipline and wish to add business and leadership capabilities. Graduates move into roles such as engineering manager, supply-chain coordinator, project leader or data-driven decision maker in manufacturing, construction or technology firms, and are prepared for further professional qualifications.
