About the Programme

The English MRes offers an exceptional opportunity to engage in independent research in English Language and/or Literature. Over a year of full-time study (or two years part-time), students will focus on a self-directed research project while benefitting from a structured programme of coursework and supervision.

This Master of Research degree is tailored for those considering doctoral studies in English or those interested in professional development through research.
