SWPS University in Poland offers a graduate-level programme in English Studies, taught in English over 4 semesters, with yearly tuition of 13,200 PLN. The programme focuses on advanced development of English language competency. Students broaden their knowledge in areas including linguistics, methodology of teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL), international business communication, and the cultural and historical background of English-speaking countries. Graduates are described as well prepared for the contemporary employment market thanks to their language proficiency, technical skills, and multicultural awareness. At graduate level, this kind of programme typically builds on undergraduate English study by deepening theoretical knowledge in linguistics and adding professional applications such as teaching methodology and business communication. Combining TEFL training with international business content gives graduates flexibility to pursue either classroom teaching roles or corporate positions that require advanced English and cross-cultural communication skills. Multicultural awareness, built through study of the history and culture of English-speaking countries, further supports graduates working in international teams or client-facing roles. SWPS University is a private Polish institution offering humanities and social science degrees in English across several campuses, and this MA in English Studies gives international students a graduate-level, English-taught option that does not require prior study of Polish. Career paths open to graduates commonly include teaching, corporate communications, translation-adjacent roles, publishing, and further postgraduate study in linguistics or applied language studies, drawing on both the linguistic and business-oriented strands of the curriculum.
