Diploma

For Diploma, tuition is Year 1: $17,136.00, Year 2: $18,359.00.

This two-year diploma program trains individuals to assess and restore damaged environments. Students study plant and animal systems, soil science, water resources, and environmental law. Most of September and April are spent off-campus for hands-on field work. A structured course plan is completed over four terms. The focus is on practical skills in ecological assessment and land reclamation.

Courses include botany, zoology, ecology, chemistry, and geographic information systems. Students learn to manage contaminants, reclaim industrial sites, and assess water quality. Field studies are a core part of the curriculum. These provide real-world experience in environmental monitoring and restoration. The program allows transfer into bachelor's degrees or a second diploma in Renewable Resource Management.

The program begins in September and accepts international students. Applicants must meet academic requirements: Math 30-1 or 30-2, Biology 20, and Chemistry 20. Basic computer skills are required. A valid First Aid or CPR certificate is recommended for job opportunities. Graduates typically secure jobs in environmental assessment, compliance, and reclamation within one year of finishing the program.
