The programme runs over two years of part-time online study, organised into three semesters. Each semester includes two mandatory ten-credit modules, followed by a twenty-credit independent project in the final semester.

Graduates pursue positions such as environmental project manager, sustainability consultant or natural resource officer within industry, government agencies or NGOs, and many continue to doctoral research.
