Students at the Pädagogische Hochschule Freiburg delve into the theories and practice of Bildungsprozesse, Erziehung, Sozialisation, Diagnostik, Inklusion, and Schulentwicklung in the Erziehungswissenschaft module. They engage with the Erziehungswissenschaft module, which encompasses discussions on the societal conditions of educational processes and the development of critical research skills. Students will participate in a seminar focusing on 'Diagnosegestützte Planung, Durchführung und Reflexion von Unterricht aus Perspektive der Bildungswissenschaften'.

The curriculum includes lectures on education and society, seminars on research methods, and various areas of focus within socialization, learning, and educational organization.
