This part-time course in Farriery is designed for qualified Farriers looking to enhance their skills and knowledge. Delivered at University Centre Myerscough and awarded by the University of Lancashire, it combines online learning with on-campus study days. Students will attend two study days per month from September to May, making it ideal for those balancing work and study. This program suits individuals who are already working in the farriery industry and wish to advance their qualifications.

The curriculum includes modules such as Advanced Farriery Practice, Biomechanics, and Equine Functional Anatomy. Students will critically evaluate farriery protocols and learn to design strategies for managing horses with various conditions. The program also offers a unique opportunity to take the Train the Trainer Farrier Award, enhancing coaching skills.
