In the purpose-built Media Factory you’ll work in dedicated edit suites, a Foley studio, a sound stage with greenscreen and motion-capture facilities, and a range of recording studios. The programme combines hands-on production practice with critical study of film, television and media culture, preparing you for independent and commercial filmmaking.

The course begins with a flexible foundation year where you can explore media and television production, screenwriting, journalism and related creative subjects before choosing a specialism. After the foundation year you progress to three years of BA (Hons) study, moving from introductory production skills and media theory in year 1, through advanced production, live briefs and entrepreneurial modules in year 2, to specialist practice, project proposals and a dissertation in year 3.
