    About Fire Protection Engineering Technician (FPN)

    This program prepares students for careers in firefighting or fire protection engineering technology. It focuses on fire service fundamentals, building and fire code analysis, and technical rescue. Students gain hands-on experience in fire alarm and suppression systems, wildland firefighting, and fire investigation. The curriculum includes practical lab work using industry-standard safety equipment.

    Focus areas include fire alarm and suppression system design, fire investigation, fire inspection, wildland firefighting, firefighter fitness, building code compliance.

    4 Semesters (2 Years), Full-time, Hybrid delivery with in-person and online components, includes hands-on lab requirements.

    Graduates can pursue roles as firefighters, fire alarm technicians, fire inspectors, or public educators in fire safety.

    High school diploma or equivalent. English language proficiency required: IELTS 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, or TOEFL iBT 79 with minimum scores per section. Submit official transcripts and proof of English proficiency.
